Stereoscopic Player 2.0.5 supports playback on the Oculus Rift head mounted display. The head tracker is not supported yet. In addition, version 2.0.5 fixes issues with the -term command line parameter.
Stereoscopic Player 2.0 adds six new viewing methods: Support for Windows 8 quad buffered DirectX, support for the Intel stereo driver, new viewing methods to simplify side-by-side and over/under output to 3D-TVs and finally two viewing methods designed for monitoring purposes to see left and right view simulataneously in 2D (blended, picture in picture).
All customers can upgrade to the new version for free! The existing product key also unlocks the new version.
Support for WebM files has been improved in Stereoscopic Player 1.9.7 and jump forward/backward commands have been added.

Stereoscopic Player 1.9.6 can load Matroska files that use the MVC codec, like the ones created by MakeMKV. Furthermore, crashes when playing DVDs have been fixed.
Stereoscopic Player 1.9.4 introduces a calibration wizard for autostereoscopic multiviewer displays.

The user interface of Stereoscopic Player 1.9 has been migrated from the Delphi programming language to C# during the last few months. Although the player looks identical to the previous versions, all the code has changed. We tested the new version thoroughly, if you still notice an issues, please let us know! We also added new features, the focus on this release was on the DMX512 capabilities: The ENTTEC DMX USB Pro interface is now supported and a DMX console allows to test your DMX universe.
The setups of Stereoscopic Player and Stereoscopic Multiplexer requires
Windows Installer 2.0 or better to be installed on your system. If setup does
not work, you must update Microsoft Installer.
